About PRAYAS - Founded on 23rd November 2014, PRAYAS is a NGO started by handful of like minded people to improve the quality of life and enhance well being of the society.
PRAYAS is actively engaged in Eye Donation Camps, Tree Plantation, Swachata Abhiyan, Ashram Shala Check up Camps, Yerala River cleaning, to name a few.

Inauguration of Yerela Punnarjivan - Prime role and a helping hand by "Art of Living". This Yerela cleaning mission was possibile only due to our our Gurudevji, Shri. Bedhmutha Sir, Sri. Amol Bhujbal Gurudev and all members and volunters of Art of Living - Khatav Taluka.
And one and only Gurudev who is known worldwide and is "God for us", Sri Sri Ravi Shankarji. His blessings created a path for cleaning Yerela.

Vriksharopan - Vriksharopan was held at the ST Bus Depot.

Swachata Abhiyan - Population of Vaduj is around 45000. There are only 11 safai workers in Vaduj Gram Panchayat with two small kachara gadis and one tractor. These 11 workers are truly not sufficient to collect and dispose such large amount of waste from Vaduj.

People of Vaduj should be aware of this fact and this situation was understood by some like minded people who formed "PRAYAS" and gave helping hand to the cleanliness of Vaduj and to create awareness in the society.

Vaduj Gram Panchayat’s Sarpanchji, all Gram Panchayat members, office staff and workers have helped us in this mission of cleaning Vaduj.

This waste garbage material of household, small industries, hotels, etc. have to be dumped/disposed in a proper manner/method. For this PRAYAS is trying to promote and educate people about storage of household garbage in two bags - one for dry and one for wet garbage.

By Taking a step further, PRAYAS is trying to initiate the appropriate authorities to carry out a project to dispose this dry and wet garbage separately. This way we can produce fertilizer and biogas from this separately dumped garbage in a techinical and proper way.

Also, e-waste is an emerging serious problem in upcoming days. People need to be educated about this e-waste and about recycle and reuse.
